Graduated in percussion instruments at the Conservatory of Latina “O. Respighi”, Gianluca Manfredonia deepened his study of percussion at the “J. Rodriguez of Valencia" (Spain). After the conservatory he began to dedicate himself to the vibraphone and drums in different genres. He is also a multi-instrumentalist. He has collaborated for years with Metamorfosi, N. Piovani, Malta Philarmonic Orquestra, Ars Ludi, Blow Up, OIC (Italian Cinematographic Orchestra). To date he is involved in Piovra Project, Lovecats and Brew 4et, Federica Michisanti Trio. He has recorded two albums as a drummer with le Metamorfosi (Chimica Ormonale 2012, Chrysalis 2016). After launching the release of his solo project "Piovra Project" as a drummer he also recorded the album "Drops" (2021) as a vibraphonist with Brew 4et for the Norwegian label "Losen Records". In 2022 a new project "Tetrad 4et" comes to life with which he releases the debut album "Even Odds" (2023). Laura Klain Trio is another project that boasts the extraordinary participation of Ares Tavolazzi on double bass. The trio has an album, named "Love song for Elvin", released recorded in June 2023 that will be out on 2025. In 2024 start to collaborate with the jazz guitarist Pietro Condorelli and they start to have a new quartet. In February 2025 he released the first album with the "Pietro Condorelli Vibes 4et" entitled "Match Point!". Also in 2025 he released the second album by the Brew 4et named "Bell Movement"(Dodicilune Label).
